Secondary and Low Flow Filtration KPM310
Modern day marine vessels have an ever increasing requirement
for straining water for service and auxiliary requirements.
As with raw water engine cooling if the water system becomes
blocked then there will be either failure or the requirement to put
to dry dock to dismantle the system to relieve the blockage. The
KPM secondary Strainer unit addresses all these problems
with reduction in failure of the pump unit or severe blockage.
Designed and manufactured to the same standard as KPM main
strainers but in a more compact size. Typical applications include:
- Straining for direct pickup feed to super charger intercoolers
- Use on low horse power engines below 80hp
- Grey water filter for toilets etc.
- Generator cooling systems
- Deck wash systems drawing water from overboard
Size: 4" dia x 6" high – fitting 4" x ¾" NPT. Available in solid mount or bracket. |
